I LOVE ENTERTAINING YOUNG AUDIENCES…

So much so, that it’s the only age group for which I perform! I hadn’t planned on being a children’s entertainer – it is funny where life leads. I have a B.S. Degree in Business from Penn State and started my career as a real estate appraiser, but after my children were born, I chose to leave that position and take on the formidable task of raising good citizens. As a creative outlet, I developed shows to entertain preschoolers and the rest is history.

Every day, I am working to improve the Giggle Magic experience; I take my job of providing fun, seriously! I create new shows, develop magic props designed especially for preschoolers, and add variety, such as the Kidz-Rock Dance Party, to get kids up and moving. I attend conferences to keep up on the latest ideas in entertainment, and I have lectured on preschool show structure and entertainment. Studying early childhood behavior helps me understand and relate to my young audience.

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of giving, and hearing, so many giggles. Thanks to all the children who have lent their bright smiles to grace my website! And a big thank you to all my preschool families, schools and clients for the privilege of entertaining your young children! I feel as if I am family for the day! ~ Marcy

  • I noticed a little boy and girl dancing with their hands clasped ballroom style. At the conclusion of the preschool Kidz-Rock Dance Party, the 5 yr old girl thanked me for bringing my music. She explained that she and the young boy were happy that they got to dance, and they were getting married. Well, this caused the boy’s head to hit his knees with embarrassment, but he popped back up seemingly in agreement. Then came the invitation…”You can come to our wedding and bring your disco ball and music.”  Now that is planning- YOU GO GIRL!! It will be my first booking as a wedding DJ; the year will be about 2032.
  • I have been known to say, “If I could do that (the magic), I’d be on TV!” After the show, to my surprise, a boy came up and asked, very intently, “What channel are you on?”
  •  The director asked me if I heard the little girl, all-out-wailing, after the show. Well, she HAD TO GO… AND NOW….and why didn’t she go earlier?   Didn’t want to miss a bit of the show and dancing!
  • An adorable little boy, around 2 or 3yrs, came up to me after the magic show and said, “I love the Magic Show! It’s HANDSOME and PRETTY!”
  • When my young fans come back to visit at public performances!
    TopFavorite Moments: Kid’s View

”After your show last week, my class could not stop talking about how awesome it was to have you come visit. I asked each of my 11, 3-yr-olds what their favorite part was, and these are some of their responses:

  • She made a balloon look like the letter L!  And that’s in my name!
  • I like all of the things, it was SOOO funny!
  • She made a monkey balloon! A MONKEY! With a BALLOON!
  • I liked being her helper! There was a lot of wands. It was silly and I got to be magic too!
  • She had superpowers! Not like flying, but she made awesome things and was super silly. My mommy can’t do that!

I think there is no higher complement than a 3yr old who thinks you are cooler than his mommy!” -Darcy Trumpler TNK, ladybug class
